Install the Sorted extension

Add Sorted to your browser to capture, organize, and reopen your tabs as workspaces.

Chrome / Edge installation

Download and extract the zip
Click the download button above, then unzip the file to a folder on your computer.

Open the extensions page
In Chrome or Edge, navigate to chrome://extensions or edge://extensions

Enable Developer Mode
Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Load the extension
Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder. The Sorted icon will appear in your toolbar.

Pin the extension
Click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar and pin Sorted so it's always visible.

Click the Safari download button above, then unzip the file.

Enable Developer menu
Open Safari → Settings → Advanced → check "Show features for web developers".

Allow unsigned extensions
Go to the Developer menu in the menu bar → check "Allow unsigned extensions".

Add the extension
Developer → Add Temporary Extension → select the extracted folder.

⚠

Note: Safari temporary extensions are removed when Safari quits or after 24 hours. You'll need to re-add it each session.

Once installed, click the Sorted icon and sign in with Google. Your tabs are ready to become workspaces.
